What should I wear to my bridal shower?

My bridal shower is next month. I recently purchased a white dress and I would like to wear it for that day but I don't know if wearing white to my own bridal shower would look OK. Any suggestions? Maybe I can wear the white dress and add pink (my wedding color)?!
